Introdução/Intro

Após o anúncio do Mark IV pela Hot Toys, fiquei a princípio bem precavido com o lançamento pois estava satisfeito com o Mark III e receava que fosse um caça níquel. Depois do lançamento, começaram a pipocar na Internet várias fotos e mudei de posição, pois havia nítidas mudanças no Mark IV.
E após pegar em mão o Mark IV, estou com a impressão de que o Mark VI será a versão Battle Damaged com o Arc Reactor triangular. Seria este o caça níquel? Bom tarde demais, já fiz a pre-order...

After the Mark IV's advertisement by Hot Toys, I wasn't so exited because I was satisfied with Mark III and peharps I thought it was only a small upgrade an not a totally different Action Figure. After the releasing of Mark IV, I changed my mind because the pics posted by the fanboys on Internet.

And now with mark IV in my hands I realised that Mark VI could be "upgarde" of Mark IV, because the difference are the Arc Reactor in Triangle form and the Battle Damaged painting. Well, too late, I have already made the pre-order of Mark VI...

Não costumo editar as fotos em meus reviews. Mas desta vez tive que utilizar deste expediente pois o vermelho do Mark IV não estava saindo igual na foto e este detalhe é um dos principais destaques do Mark IV. Desta maneira, procurei editar as fotos de modo a representar melhor o vermelho, feito de maneira amadora.

I am not used to edit the photos in my reviews. But this time I used some tools of editing, because the red color of the original photos wasn't similar to the real Mark IV. In this manner I changed the color making editions in not a professional way. 

Defeito na pintura/Painting defect

Infelizmente a pintura no capacete do Iron Man Mark IV veio um defeito na pintura, coisa que nãio devi ser adimitida para um "brinquedo" tão caro. Outro defeito em meu Mark IV foi a luz da mão direita que não acende.
Unfortunately there is a defect on the painting of Mark IV helmet. Another defect is the light on the right arm, which it is not working. Too bad for a expensive "toy".

Talvez a melhor forma de checar uma mlehoria é colocando lado a lado as diferentes versões de Tony Stark. Eu não tenho o Mark II , Mark III Battle Damaged e o Mech Test (ou ainda Mequetrefe, he, he, he!). Então para comparação fica o Tony do Mark III.

Maybe the best way to see improvements in different versions is puting side by side. I don't have Mark II, Battle Damaged Mark III and Mech Test. Only pics of Tony Mark III for comparison.

Nestas fotos entre Mark IV e Mark III nota-se o melhor caimento da armadura no corpo e sem os "gaps" do Mark III. O vermelho do Mark IV é mais fiel ao filme do que o do Mark III que está muito roxeado.

These pics show the differences between Mark IV and Mark III. A better fitting on Mark IV and there is no gaps. The red color of Mark IV is more similar to the movie than the red color of Mark III, which tends to purple.

Introdução/Intro
O final de ano foi bem pesado em termos de lançamentos de meu interesse. Fiquei um breve tempo longe da Hot Toys, pois nada me interessava. Bom daí veio o T-1000, War Machine, Mark IV, Barney/Expendables e este T-800.
O T-800 é um clássico dos Filmes de Ficção Científica. Lembro de ter assistido o filme após as aulas junto com meus colegas de colégio. Fiquei extasiado com o enredo e os efeitos especiais, apesar de limitados.

The end of the year of 2010 was flooded by highly interesting Action Figures from Hot Toys, like War Machine, Mark IV, Barney/Expendables and this T1/T-800.

The T-800 is a classic Sci-Fi movie and I remember that I watched it after the classes in the mid of 80's, when I was a teenager.

Bisturi, Tesouras e Alicate/Scalpel, Scissors and Pincer

Tanto o bisturi como o alicate parecem ser feitos de metal de tãos duros. Daí coloquei um imã, que não atraiu.
Both the pincer and the scalpel are very heavy and looks like made of metal.

Colocando a pistola/Putting the gun on the hand




Mais uma vez, gosto de relatar que primeiro coloco a pistola/arma na mão em separado e somente depois encaixo no braço (e não o contrário) de modo a não quebrar o temido conector (se bem que a Hot Toys vem mandando pares extras ultimamente).

I always put the gun and the hand first and only after I put this group together on the arm, to avoid some damages on the connector.

Como nunca consegui usar o braço Battle Damaged do T2, devido a dificuldade de desconectar, resolvi colocar nesta versão pois os encaixes estavam bem frouxos.
I never put the battel damaged arm on T2, because they are very tight to take it off. For this reason I put that arm on this T1., only to see the effect.

Senti uma melhoria no T1 em relação a fidelidade à escultura do Arnie.
In my opinion the headsculpt of T1 is slightly better than T2.

Tentando reaproveitar a cabeça extra/ Trying to use the alternate head in a True Type Body
Como há uma cabeça extra e braços sobrando pensei em reaproveitar estes "restos" para montar uma versão alternativa. Somente daí me dei conta de que a articulação de um muscular body é bem restrita, contando com um ponto de giro.

With a extra head and extra arms I have tried to use in a True Type, but I realized that the connections are very different between a muscular body and a True Type.

Só para variar coloquei no Wolvie para ver como ficava. Daí me dei conta de como é limitado onúmeor de poses de um muscular body.
